First, open up Lightroom on your phone. Make sure that you’re logged into the correct account, and that you’ve got a photo loaded. Now tap on the crop tool at the bottom of the screen (it looks like an arrow). You’ll see two options: Crop and Rotate. Choose Crop.

Next, drag the corners of your photo until it’s as small as possible. This will help you avoid getting a message that says “This image is too large for Instagram.” Once you’ve got it cropped down, tap Done and then Save Changes in the upper right corner of your screen.
