While paint pens and brushes are great for small scratches, sometimes you have a bigger problem area. A paint spray can will repair scratches that are larger than a dime. Each spray can contains up to six square feet of paint coverage, and is used to repair larger areas. This paint is ready to go, just spray right out of the can.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR COLOR & FIND YOUR COLOR CODE!

Step 1. Find your Vehicle Tag that lists various information including your vehicle’s paint color code.
Step 2. Paint codes can typically contain numbers and letters. Please view the example tag below for your model. If you can’t find the tag please call your local dealer and they may be able to help you find your tag.
Step 3: Once you find the paint color code on your vehicle, check to make sure it matches the color code for this kit. If not, select the kit with the matching color code.
Step 4: Order your custom PaintScratch touch up paint kit.

PAINTSCRATCH DIRECTIONS

Preparation: Wear protection for your lungs, eyes, and skin. Keep products away from children and work in a well ventilated space.
Practice & Test: Make sure the color matches. Practice on a large test surface, allow to dry, then repeat 2-3x. Once dry, compare the color to your vehicle.
Clean Damaged Area: PaintScratch recommends using PaintScratch Wax & Grease Remover.
Primer: If painting over bare metal, apply 2-3 thin coats of PaintScratch Primer and let it dry between layers. Using the Cutting Creme (included in kit), wetsand the area to create a smooth surface.
Basecoat: Apply thin coats of paint, allowing each coat to dry completely.
Sand Flat: When dry, sand with the Cutting Creme, then clean the area with a clean wet rag and finish with a tack rag.
Clearcoat: Practice before using it on your vehicle. When dry, apply several thin layers of Clearcoat, allowing it to dry between each layer.
Polish: Allow 3 days to dry completely. Then use Cutting Creme (included in kit) to polish the area until it shines.
