Impossible Encounters – The Jesus Grave
The Jesus grave actually exists. In the middle of Srinagar lies a narrow street with the fitting name of A Prophet Will Come. On this street is a stone building with three roofs each just above the other. Rauzabal Khanyar is the name of the building. In a darkened room within is a cross with candles burning next to it. Behind it is a shrine with a double-sided, small door. On the floor, enclosed by a wooden frame, is an elevated, rectangular monolith. Under it is where Jesus’s sarcophagus is supposedly located. On the wooden plaque in front of the shrine is the inscription Ziarat Yousa, the Tomb of Jesus. Inside the shrine is a second inscription: “Here lies Yusa, the famous prophet of the children of Israel.”
The Discovery of the Band with Holes
